Day one..

Second day of the new year... first day in the hiring trailer for Texas Roadhouse!
Store opens in a month and 4 days and hiring begins tomorrow!
For the next two weeks I'll be working both jobs (tx roadhouse in the morn and chase in the evening.. till 11)
wish me luck!

For the Love of Children

Anyone who knows anything about me knows my most commonly used phrase is "I want a baby"... But being old fashioned and going with the whole time line of "how things should go"... First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage... I can wait till we are married! Plus no one truly wants to be a preggers bride!!
But when, god willing, I do become a mother I pray that nothing will cloud my judgement of the fact that all my decisions should be made with my child's best interest t heart! Today has been one for the books (technically the past 4days) of unnecessary mothers hurting their children's well being with their selfish acts!
Dear Lord please bring clarity to these women!

history/future

I don't even know where to begin with these posts!
So much has happened the past year.. and so much is about to happen in the upcoming year...

2011:
-moved in with the love of my life
-moved to san antonio to do so (from houston)
-started a new job... which I hate
-bought my first new car
-visited virginia in the summer.. met his parents
-introduced san antonio to spiritdress.com
oh and did I mention..
-I GOT ENGAGED

what is going on in 2012:
-another job change... can't wait
-store opening
-learn to crochet
-turn a quarter of a century
-conference in orlando
-planning a wedding (hoping he will just cave and go with my idea to elope... will continue in a future post)
-GETTING MARRIED... and becoming a Step-Mother!
-developing spiritdress.com even more!!
-baking and crafting every chance I get.. which might not be much!

Every girl probably starts one of these with the intentions of posting daily/weekly with fun escapades from said time frame and amazing revelation as if she were Carrie Bradshaw. Well I don't see that happening.. sorry to disappoint!
But..
I do craft and bake fairly often... and trying to plan a wedding! So I will do my best to write about it!
Who knows.. venting on here might help keep me sane through the next few months... which will be stressful!
